Youth
Business Sri Lanka (YBSL) has trained the upcoming young entrepreneurs in
entrepreneurship, mentoring and business plan development in Vavuniya district.
The training workshop is arranged by YBSL - Vavuniya team on 13th
and 14th of November 2013 at Hotel Vanni Inn in order to build soft
skills of the youth. The programme is supported by British Asia Trust (BAT) and
Accenture covering the two important elements entrepreneurship skills and
mentoring assistance. Selected
entrepreneurs will be financially supported by BAT programme to start and
expand their ventures. YBSL have been actively involved in the process of
supporting prospective young entrepreneurs by providing relevant training, one
on one mentoring and financial support. 85% of trained young entrepreneurs are
female who are involved in different SME ventures.
